For about the past two years Only In Stories has been made up of four people. Unfortunately situations and lives change and now it's time for Caleb to move on to the next part of his life. He has goals and ambitions that we are all very excited about for him and wish him the best of luck and God's blessing and protection over his life. We've had so much fun hanging out, practicing, doing shows and traveling across the country with this clown, he's an awesome guy and we will miss him a lot. He's leaving on great terms and we plan to hangout with him whenever we can.

This is what he had to say:

Hello there, I hope you all are doing well. I am sad to say that my time with Only In Stories is coming to an end. My life is going in a different direction and I can no longer play in the band. I really had fun with these guys and gal. I wish them the best of luck and I hope they go further than they think they can!

Now, with all of this said; Caleb is however helping to finish the record that we are currently working. We are avidly looking for a new bass player starting immediately. These are the things that we're looking for in our new bass player in no certain order:

- Active Christian

- Between the ages of 18-22

- Flexible schedule

- Willing to be dedicated for the long haul

- Professional equipment

- Has experience playing music live in a group or band

- Has a passport or is willing to get one immediately (this will be discussed in detail after we feel we have found the right person)

- Person needs to fit in musically and have chemistry with the band (this is something no one can control)

Hey guys! Just wanted to make a small update to things. It's been silent for a while, besides our shows that we've had. (Which have been AWESOME btw!)

So as you know, we had said that we would release an EP earlier this summer and a full length later on. Well we decided not to release an EP since the three songs that would have been on it are actually going to end up on the full length. We just saw no reason in re-releasing 3 songs in a separate EP that would be on the full length. So for anyone that has been wondering what happened. That's the story.

Hey everyone! This blog comes super late, and kind of random. Just up late and figured something should be written about whats been going on.
So as you may know, we had a show last weekend in Thomasville, AL which was awesome and such a blessing! It really turned out better than we hoped that it would! We had such a fun time playing and hanging out with everyone, they were all super nice, awesome people. :) Leading worship for them the following Sunday morning was also cool, we had a good time with that too.
We really want to thank anyone who cares and listens to our music for being so patient. We DO have some new tunes that will be released soon, and we are SUPER stoked to let you guys get a peak at what's new for us and the direction we're taking our sound. We really hope that everyone likes it and can't for you guys to hear it. So hold on to your chairs, and keep waiting a little bit more, because we're hoping to blow you away and the only thing keeping you anchored is the chair that I presume you are sitting in. :)

Hey guys!

This post comes 3 days late, sorry. Anyway, we accomplished some pretty awesome stuff this past week/weekend. Mary started recording her vocals for the two bonus songs on our EP re-release and they're sounding great. We prepared for Elevate as usual, and lead worship there and God really moved in the service. So yeah, that's about all that has happened recently, we're really excited about the future and we hope that you guys are too! :)

Hey guys! How is everyone? Hope you all had a great week! We did! This week we just worked on lyrics for our songs. It's as simple as that! That's what we did. :) The melodies and words are sounding awesome though! We really hope that you guys like them, we've worked our tales off and if they suck... well then, we suck. :( Of course we also led worship at Elevate on Sunday evening, and if you haven't been out there yet then you should come and join us.

Hey everyone!

So this blog is a day late. Sorry! Anyway, this past weekend basically all we did was finish some backtracks for our live worship set and then we practiced with them. All of that took place on Friday, Saturday we took a day off. Sunday evening we lead worship at Elevate Youth Ministries in Decatur, AL; and we will be leading from here on out. So if you live around Decatur you should come out to Elevate. It meets on Sunday evenings at 6:30 at The Epicenter on Highway 20 in Decatur, AL. We hope you guys had a good Valentine's Day yesterday.

This past weekend the band got together and we worked on perfecting our two bonus tracks for our digital re-release of our EP; On The Edge, which will be remastered, re-edited and remixed. We can't tell you what the bonus tracks are called or any details, but we promise that it will be just scraping the surface for what is to come for our full-length album this summer. (While we were polishing the two tracks we just MIGHT have written the most epic show opener that you guys will have ever heard, so be excited) We'll be releasing the remastered edition of On The Edge on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and other sites soon so make sure to keep checking back. That's really all the news and info we have for you guys this week so check back next week sometime to see what news we have for you then. We might do another video blog though, so if we do we'll let you know where to find it. :)
